Unity 

Above is my concept for a Veteran’s Columbarium located in Mandan ND.

“Unity is an elegant design which holds the remains of military veterans.”

The Concept:

Give a sense of community and kinship between all plaques.

The Design:

By draping the plaques along the inside of this circle we are able to eliminate any hierarchy that might develop in any historic columbariums. The placement of this monumental model is to be in the side of the hill, nested in a grove a trees and overlooking a sea of white tombstones. Contrast this with its heavy internal features and reflective materials, makes for a humble entrance to a grand commons.
